Hello Tiny Maverick 👋

Today, I'm going to share a story about how Deborah Meaden went from owning a holiday park to becoming a TV dragon! 🐉

Deborah Meaden is a tiny maverick who always dreamt of having her own business.

After studying and trying different ideas, she started her own company selling glass and ceramics to fancy stores.

Sadly, her products ended up in other shops without her permission. It would have cost Deborah lots of money to remove them, so she decided to move on.

However, she didn't give up and it wasn’t long before she tried other business ideas out.

These involved selling lovely Italian clothes and running a fun bingo game at Butlins.

But it was one idea she eventually stumbled upon that changed everything…

She became the boss of a holiday park company and made sure families had amazing vacations!

She borrowed money from a bank to do it and worked really hard to grow the company.

After many years of success (and lots of holidays), a big company wanted to buy her business, and she agreed, making lots of money in the process

Soon after, Deborah joined a TV show called 'Dragon's Den,' where she invested in new and exciting businesses.

She supported businesses that made cool things like quick-drying towels and beautiful nature-inspired fashion.

Deborah also cares about our planet and helps organisations protect the environment and wildlife. She loves animals and is a big supporter of important causes.

Nowadays, Deborah enjoys her life with a good balance between her businesses, projects she cares about, and spending time with her family, friends, and animals.

And that's how Deborah Meaden became a successful entrepreneur and a kind-hearted person, inspiring others to chase their dreams too!
