Karren Brady

Issue #12

Hello Tiny Maverick 👋

Today, I'm going to share a story about how Karren Brady pushed through barriers to become a leading female entrepreneur.

Karren Brady is a tiny maverick who loves business!

When she finished school, she started working in advertising, helping people make their businesses successful.

Karren realised she had a passion for entrepreneurship and when she was only 23 years old, she became the boss of a football team called Birmingham City.

The club was in trouble and wasn't doing well, but Karren worked really hard and made the team more successful.

She even made it so people could buy a little bit of the team and become part owners!

This was a really big deal because no other football club had done that before.

After helping Birmingham City, Karren proved herself to be a very good boss. So she was asked to do the same thing for another football club. This time it was West Ham.

She helped the team move to a bigger stadium so more people could come and watch the games.

Now, West Ham are doing really well and lots of fans like to go and watch them play.

Karren is very good at helping people start their own businesses too!

She has won many awards for her work, like being named "Business Woman of the Year" and "Ultimate Entrepreneur".

She was even made a Baroness by the Prime Minister in 2013!

Karren is a really cool lady and an inspiration to many people who want to start their own businesses.

She has even written a book called "Strong Woman" to help people learn from her experience.

It doesn’t matter how old you are, it’s never too early to find a passion you love and do it every day… just like Karren!
