Sophia Amoruso
Issue #14
Hello Tiny Maverick 👋
Today, I'm going to share a story about how Sophia Amoruso started a hugely successful fashion brand from her bedroom.
Sophia was a tiny maverick who loved finding old clothes and selling them online.
She would search through markets, garage sales, and shops for unique and special items.
One day, Sophia had a realisation that she could make extra money by selling the treasures she found on a website called eBay.
From her bedroom, she started taking photos of the items she wanted to sell and uploaded them to her online store.
Sophia's talent for finding special clothes caught the attention of many people, and soon she had a lot of customers.
She decided to brand her online store and named it "Nasty Gal Vintage".
Sophia worked hard to make her store grow bigger and bigger.
She would spend hours taking photos, writing descriptions, and packing orders for her customers.
Her hard work paid off, and it wasn't long until everyone recognised the "Nasty Gal" name.
Sophia knew that success didn't come easy for her, and she had to work hard to achieve her dreams.
She even wrote a book about her journey called "#Girlboss" to inspire others.
Despite the challenges she faced, she's an example of how anything can be achievable if you believe in yourself, realise your talents, and put in lots of effort.
Maybe you'll follow a similar path one day?
